Charlie brings over a decade of policy experience spanning HealthTech, biopharma, the NHS, and life sciences venture capital. He advises health and life sciences businesses and investors on policy, regulatory, and market access challenges, both in the UK and globally.
Charlie was previously the Head of access to finance in the UK Government’s Office for Life Sciences (OLS) at the Department for Health and Social Care (DHSC). He developed new national policies to improve the UK’s investment and business environment for high-growth companies.
Before working in government, Charlie led an international research programme at Cancer Research UK, publishing several articles in high-impact journals comparing cancer care across different health systems. Charlie started his career in public engagement at University College London (UCL) working with an academic research group to improve the practice of evidence-based medicine.
