Seb is a Senior Manager in Newmarket Strategy’s Strategic Government Affairs practice, which he joined in November 2024 as a Senior Consultant. At Newmarket, Seb leads the Government Affairs work on medical and health technologies, working alongside the world’s largest medical device manufacturers, trade associations and industry bodies to improve the uptake of innovative technologies and outcomes for patients.
Seb has vast experience working across the policy areas impacting MedTech, including assessment, adoption, regulation and investment policy, supporting manufacturers across MedTech categories, from consumables to robotic surgery and genomics. This includes working through strategy development and engagement across Government, Parliament and the NHS.
Prior to his time at Newmarket, Seb spent four years at public affairs agency, PLMR Healthcomms. Seb holds a BSc(Hons) in Politics and International Relations and an MSc International Development, both from the University of Bath, where he studied from 2016-2020.
